Bike Friendly Richardson

Our friends over at PEDALLAS will be throwing their very first event. They have thoroughly planned a quick Alley Cat for the Dallas residents.

The race is entitled “THE TWENTY”, where the first twenty individuals to register for the race will be admitted. Registration will begin Wednesday,December 9,2009 at exactly 8:00 p.m. CST via www.pedallas.com. Yes the race is closed to twenty riders due to the amount of packages that will be delivered from checkpoint to checkpoint.

There will be a $10 entry fee for all participants, where the 1st place winner wins $100.00, 2nd place wins $60.00, and 3rd place wins $40.00

WHEN: Sunday,December 20th, 2009
(Registration will begin Wednesday,December 9,2009 at exactly 8:00 p.m.)
TIME: 10:00 a.m.
ENTRY FEE: $10 – first 20 riders only.

Requirements to race:
1. Bag
2. Single Speed and/or Fixed Gear bicycles only (There has to be some sort of control)
3. Helmet
4. $10.00 Entry Fee (Due on race day)
5. Signed wavier form (Which will be sent to “The Twenty” prior to race)

They have confirmed prizes from Chrome Messenger Bags, SoMighty, Hold Fast, Velocity USA, Transit Bicycle Co., Daltex Bicycles, and Oury Grips.

This sounds like it’s going to be a blast. Even if you can’t do the race, you can can cheer on fellow riders.
