Group Ride To The Cedars Food Park Grand Opening

Sorry about the late notice on this, but how about a ride into Dallas this Saturday? Cedars Food Park is celebrating their grand opening on Saturday, July 28, from 5 – 10 pm. We’re going to start a group ride from the Spring Valley DART station, head down the White Rock Creek Trail into east Dallas, then hop on either the Santa Fe Trail or Swiss Avenue and head into downtown Dallas.

Our destination will be the Dallas Heritage Village (a.k.a. Old City Park). Once there, we’ll enjoy some music, beverages and over 15 of Dallas’ best food trucks. Here are more details about the event.

The return ride will be to one of the downtown DART stations, where we’ll take the Red Line back to the start at Spring Valley Station, Richardson. Here are the details:

DATE: Saturday, July 28, 2012
TIME: Meet up at 6:00, ride at 6:30 <––––– PLEASE NOTE NEW TIME!!
MEETUP LOCATION: Spring Valley DART Station – under the platform.
THINGS TO BRING:
– Lights, Water and Helmet
– Mosquito Spray
– $1.75 for a one way DART pass
– Cash for food trucks (some take credit, but cash is fast). Admission is free and the food ranges from $2 – $9.
– Valid Texas ID – if you plan to have an adult beverage
NOTE: The return ride will be somewhat informal. You are more than welcome to join us or stay/leave the event at your convenience.
