Bike to Symphony in the Park – Thursday, June 2, 2011

Friend of Bike Friendly Richardson, Sharon Bruner, is hosting a fantastic ride next week. It’s called Bike to Symphony in the Park. It sounds like the perfect way to kick off the summer season.

From her Facebook event page:

It’s time for some summer bike fun NORTH of 635!!

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra is putting on a free concert at Campbell Green Park (Hillcrest/Campbell in N. Dallas) at 8pm on Thursday, June 2nd.

Let’s meet at the Whole Foods – Richardson (southeast corner of Coit/Beltline) 6:30ish to shop for picnic items. Be ready to ride to the park at 7pm.

Distance is roughly 3.5 miles each way on flat land, so this ride is suitable for all types of riders. The majority of the route will be on the Preston Ridge Trail.

Don’t forget lights, whatever safety equipment makes you happy, and a way to stow wine or other picnic-y things!

Anyone is welcome to join, so please feel free to share this invite with others!

DATE: Thursday, June 2
TIME: 6:30pm – 9:30pm
MEET: Whole Foods Market Richardson
101 S. Coit
Richardson, Texas
