Great Article In The March 2012 Far North Dallas Advocate
You might have read in this post, local blogs, Suburban Assault and Biking In Dallas were mentioned in a local magazine, the Far North Dallas Advocate. It is a really great article that made it to print in their March 2012 issue. Unfortunately, since this is the last day of the month, most of those issues are gone or replaced with April issues. So, keep an eye out for the March 2012 issue, and grab a few.
Fortunately, if you miss it, you can download a digital copy here. Or, you can always read Emily Toman‘s online article here.

Richardson Biking Gets A Mention With DMN
There is a recent Dallas Morning News article about biking in Richardson. This comes in the wake of Bicycling Magazine’s recently released list of Top 50 Bike-Friendly Cities – which lacks any of the DFW cites.
The DMN article gives mention to the new bike lanes on Grove and Custer. They also quote our friend Chris Curnutt, with Biking In Dallas who wrote a great article about the Dallas trail network.
Although Richardson isn’t progressive enough to make the Bicycling Magazine list, at least we’ve been making some great progress with our biking infrastructure – more so than most of the Metroplex.
Still, I wouldn’t mind a little more competitiveness in wanting to make that list. How cool would it be if we were one of first north Texas cites to make it?
