Bike Friendly Richardson Presents: Black Friday Ride #8
It’s that time of year again. It’s the time to AVOID all the big crowds at the shopping mall, work off that Thanksgiving dinner and have a fun ride around town.
You are invited to attend Bike Friendly Richardson‘s EIGHTH (that’s right, 8th) annual Black Friday Ride. Started eight years ago as the inaugural ride that launched Bike Friendly Richardson (which makes us 7 years old), the Black Friday Ride gives folks an alternative way to kick off the holiday season. This is a casual paced ride that will explore many of the different route options available to Richardson cyclists. We will ride on back-roads, side-streets, multi-purpose trails and available bike lanes.
Come on out to the Yale Park, at the southeast corner of Yale Blvd and Collins Blvd., and enjoy a nice picnic lunch. Howard and Rita Maher will roll out a grill and offer hot dogs and hamburgers, pre-ride. Please let us know if you would like them to grill some for you. BYOS (bring your own sides).
This year the route will be on the EAST side of town, with the addition of a rest stop. More details to come.
