Pearl Cup Coffee Comes To IICreeks Plaza In Richardson

Pearl Cup Richardson - Open

Pearl Cup Coffee has opened in Richardson, giving us another great destination that’s easy to access by bike. Being right off one of the city’s bike lanes, Pearl Cup Coffee could potentially be a great, bike friendly hangout. However, being pretty new, they’re not set up with any bike racks. There are a few in the IICreeks shopping center, but none close to the coffee shop.

Pearl Cup Coffee has a couple other locations in Dallas. Both are very successful destinations that pull in a nice crowds and build stronger communities. We’re hoping the same thing happens in Richardson.

Here is where you can find them:
II Creeks Plaza (on the Custer Road side)
2701 Custer Pkwy‎
Richardson, TX 75080

Be sure to politely ask them for some bike racks out front.

A bike rack has always been in the plan for our shop! Not sure if you inquired about the bike rack or just assumed that there won’t be one because you didn’t see it.. but the bike rack is a custom design and will be installed just as soon as it’s finished being built. We look forward to being a popular stop for cyclists.
    Cheers,

Fantastic! No, I did not inquire about the racks, nor did I assume there won’t be one. I merely commented on the current state. Thank you for having plans to bring in a rack.

I look forward to trying it out.

I found the Peal Cup by reading Bike Friendly Richardson. Being new to the area, I use Google Maps to search from my current location for “coffee” while out cycling. While sitting at Pearl Cup yesterday, Google Maps identified the nearest coffee stop as being several miles away.
I ordered a doppio and was disappointed at the volume of espresso. I was expecting 2Oz. (double-shot). I enjoyed the carrot cake I ordered but would have preferred if one: I knew how many calories the serving is (surely that’s not expecting too much), and two: if the frosting had more cream cheese.

Overall, I was thrilled to find another coffee destination. I usually frequent the Starbucks at Renner & North Star Rd so it’s great to have an espresso source at each end of Renner.

Thanks BFR for the great cycling destination recommendation that I would not have found by solely relying on Google Maps.
PS: Pearl Cup now has a bike rack
